Locally
Christians Against Poverty (CAP) provides free debt help and practical support across the UK. Crawley Baptist Church is a partner of the Crawley CAP Centre charity which runs the debt centre and coordinates CAP’s work locally.
Easter Team - an ecumenical Christian Charity, which exists to help those in need and those least able to help themselves. The support includes distributing food parcels and other forms of support when people are in crisis, such as top-ups on gas and electric cards
Lighthouse Project - an ecumenical Christian Charity that exists to serve the schools of Crawley through assemblies, clubs, prayer spaces, lessons and mentoring whilst sharing the Christian faith and values. The project is led by a team of staff and volunteers.
Street 360 - Crawley Baptist Church has supported this organisation in the past. It is now closing down. Church leaders in Crawley are currently planning worship events for the young people of the town.
Love Your Neighbour (Crawley) - Crawley churches working together reaching out to offer much needed help to those who are most isolated and vulnerable. The website is currently under development
Nationally
Baptist Union Home Mission - supporting other churches around the UK
Youth trips - until the Covid pandemic the young people were involved in city outreaches such as Hope Bristol
Internationally
BMS World Mission -For several years Crawley Baptist church supported Mark and Susanna Barrell who were working for BMS in Mozambique. We are now Supporting two more people who work for BMS in Mozambique: Jane Edwards, Kalbassou Doubassou and Ardi Wiriadinata
Christian Engineers in Development - Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Tanzania and Democratic Republic of Congo.
Deo Gloria Church - Romania
Faith in Action Church - Malawi
Medical Centres of West Africa (MCWA) supporting a hospital in Northern Cameroon.
Igniting Communities for Jesus (ICJ) - Igniting Communities for Jesus (formerly J-Life) reaches out to some of the most remote and vulnerable communities across Northern Burundi.
Watsan - Uganda - providing community water supplies and sanitation improvements in SW Uganda
Wycliffe Bible Translators - We have adopted a project in NW Cameroon with the Aghem people
Youth Trips - The young people planned to go on a trip to Kenya in 2020 and again this year with Amore (Europe). Unfortunately both these visits were cancelled because of Covid 19. The young people are now planning a trip in 2022.
Short term mission - Visits by CBC members for example to, Christian Engineers in Development (CED) projects, and New Life International Africa in Kenya. Currently all such visits are suspended because of Covid 19
